Full Description
This half-day tour covers three of Kuala Lumpur's most striking religious landmarks, each from a different faith and architectural tradition. It's a compact way to see the cultural and religious diversity that shapes the city, without needing a full day.
Start at Batu Caves, a limestone hill north of the city that has been a Hindu shrine since the 1890s — home to the 42.7m golden statue of Lord Murugan and the 272 steps leading up to the main cave temple. From there, head to Thean Hou Temple, a six-tiered Chinese temple perched on Robson Heights with sweeping views over the city, before finishing at Masjid Negara, the National Mosque, whose 73m star-shaped roof and blue-tiled dome have symbolised independent Malaysia since 1965.

- Journey to Batu Caves (30–45 minutes approx., traffic dependent)
- Visit the Batu Caves temple complex and the Lord Murugan statue
- Free time to explore the cave temple (272 steps — optional, can be viewed from ground level)
- Journey to Thean Hou Temple
- Visit Thean Hou Temple and its viewing terraces over the city
- Journey to Masjid Negara (National Mosque)
- Visit the National Mosque (modest dress provided at the entrance; closed to non-Muslim visitors during prayer times)
- Head back toward your hotel
- 13:00hrs/later drop off at the same locations where pick-ups occurred (depending on traffic conditions)

Dress Code
All three stops are active places of worship. Shoulders and knees should be covered; sleeveless tops and shorts above the knee are not permitted. Modest robes are available to borrow at Batu Caves and the National Mosque if needed. The National Mosque is closed to non-Muslim visitors during the five daily prayer times.
