To ensure a smooth and personalized pickup experience, we will share your Driver’s full name, contact phone number, and photograph (depend on availability) prior to your transfer, subject to availability.

We are not a licensed private hire operator, nor a transportation carrier and WE DO NOT provide the Transport Services. We act solely as an intermediary between You and the Driver. By booking Your Pickup through the Platform, You enter into a direct and legally binding contractual relationship with the Driver who accepts Your Pickup. The Company provides information and a method to facilitate the Transport Services, but does not intend to provide Transport Services or act in any way as a transportation carrier, therefore has no responsibility or liability for any Transport Services provided to You by the Drivers.

5. Legal Status of the Company

The Company provides online and telephone booking mediation services to facilitate Transfer Services for you. We act solely as an intermediary between Passengers and Drivers to facilitate Bookings performed by independent Drivers. The Company does not directly provide Transfer Services and is not a licensed transport operator. By making a Booking through our Platform, you acknowledge that you are entering into a direct Contract for the Transfer Service solely with the Driver. You and the Driver bear sole liability for the performance and fulfillment of the Transfer Service.

The Company is not a contracting party to the relationship established exclusively between you and the Driver. The Company assumes no rights, obligations, or liabilities under such contracts, and Drivers remain solely responsible for passenger transport. Consequently, the Company, its representatives, employees, and agents are not liable for any risks, injuries, or damages arising from the negotiation, execution, or completion of transactions between Passengers and Drivers. Booking a Transfer Service through the Platform is done at your sole discretion, and by proceeding, you warrant full compliance with all obligations under these Terms.

We make no representations, guarantees, or warranties regarding the quality, timing, or completion of any Transfer Service, nor the conduct or behavior of Passengers or Drivers. Drivers operate as independent third parties and maintain no employment, agency, or partnership relationship with the Company; the Platform serves strictly as a technological tool connecting you with Drivers. We do not provide insurance coverage for Drivers or their vehicles, and we assume no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings occurring prior to, during, or after a Transfer Service.

While we facilitate connecting Drivers to you, we do not evaluate, warrant, or guarantee the suitability, legality, or operational capability of any Driver. You expressly waive and release the Company from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of or related to the actions, omissions, or performance of any Driver. The Company will not act as a party to, nor mediate, any disputes arising between you and a Driver.

The mediation services provided by us are strictly for your personal, non-commercial use. You are expressly prohibited from reselling, deep-linking, copying, monitoring (including via web scraping, spiders, or automated software), displaying, downloading, or reproducing any content, information, software, products, or services available on the Platform for any commercial or competitive activity.

6. Online booking procedure

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a Booking. You are responsible for completing the online booking process, ensuring all provided details are accurate and complete, and making full payment. Upon entering into a Contract, the Company will undertake the necessary arrangements to organize your requested Transfer Service. The Contract becomes legally binding only when you receive your Transfer Voucher by email. The sending or receipt of a payment confirmation alone does not constitute a legally binding Contract.

If the Transport Operator is unable to provide the requested Transfer Service, we will inform you and issue a full refund using the original payment method. Upon issuing this reimbursement, we will have no further liability to you.

You are required to acknowledge all notifications sent by us. If you fail to acknowledge receipt of an email notification, the records maintained on our email server shall serve as definitive proof of delivery and receipt.

The Lead Passenger must present a printed Transfer Voucher to the Transport Operator or Driver prior to commencement of the service. Failure by the Lead Passenger to present the Voucher may result in the Transfer Service not being provided. We recommend printing and carrying all written correspondence between you and the Company alongside your Transfer Voucher.

Minors are strictly prohibited from making a Booking directly with the Company. Parents, legal guardians, or responsible adults must contact us immediately if a minor makes a Booking so that we may cancel the reservation. Minors are not permitted to travel on any Transfer Service unless accompanied by an adult Passenger.

7. GCRIDE Apps

Subject to these Terms, we hereby grant you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, limited license to download, install, and use our mobile applications (“GCRide Apps”), provided that your installation and use of the GCRide Apps is solely (i) for your personal, non-commercial use, and (ii) in accordance with the restrictions and limitations set forth in these Terms. You may not copy, transfer, lease, loan, modify, adapt, create derivative works of, redistribute, or sublicense the GCRide Apps. If you sell your mobile device to a third party, you must remove the GCRide Apps from the device prior to doing so. You may not reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the GCRide Apps, or any part thereof, except where such restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law. All rights not expressly granted to you hereunder are reserved by us and our licensors.

We may, from time to time and in our sole discretion, develop and provide updates to the GCRide Apps. These updates may include upgrades, bug fixes, patches, other error corrections, and new features (collectively, including related documentation, “Updates”). Updates may also modify or remove certain features or functionality in their entirety. You agree that we have no obligation to provide any Updates or to continue providing or enabling any particular features or functionality. Based on your mobile device settings, when your device is connected to the internet, the GCRide Apps may automatically download and install all available Updates, or you may receive notice of or be prompted to download and install available Updates. You must promptly download and install all Updates, and you acknowledge that the GCRide Apps or portions thereof may not function properly if you fail to do so. All Updates will be considered part of the GCRide Apps and remain subject to these Terms.

You acknowledge that when you download, install, or use the GCRide Apps, we may use automatic means (including cookies, SDKs, and web beacons) to collect information about your mobile device and your use of the GCRide Apps. You may also be required to provide certain information about yourself as a condition of downloading, installing, or using the GCRide Apps or their features and functionality. All information we collect through or in connection with the GCRide Apps is subject to our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.gcride.my/privacy-policy.

8. Customer Services

If you have questions, complaints, or require assistance regarding your Booking, you may contact our customer service team through our Help Center at https://www.gcride.my/contact/, or via phone, live chat, or email. We typically respond within 24 hours and guarantee a response no later than 48 hours from receipt. For direct updates regarding your Transfer Service, you can communicate with your assigned Driver through our in-platform chat feature. In the event of an urgent matter or emergency, direct contact details for your Driver can be found on your Transfer Voucher.

9. Pricing and Payment Term

The Posted Price applies to any Transfer Service or activity listed on our Platform. The Booking Price is the Posted Price minus any applicable discounts. Unless otherwise agreed by us in writing, the Booking Price is payable by you immediately upon making a Booking. We cannot issue a tax invoice for any Booking or Transfer Service purchased; however, upon your request, we may issue a payment confirmation for a completed Booking. For selected activities, you may select the “Reserve now, pay later” feature, which requires a credit card valid through the date of the selected activity. Upon completing your Booking, we will process a pre-authorization charge of zero Ringgit Malaysia (RM0) to verify your card details. We will automatically debit the Booking Price seventy-two (72) hours before the activity starts. If this charge fails, you will have forty-seven (47) hours to complete the payment manually, after which we will automatically cancel your Booking if payment remains unreceived. All payments for services booked through our Platform are securely processed using Stripe, a third-party payment gateway. By completing a Booking and submitting your payment details, you agree to be bound by Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not directly collect, process, or store your sensitive credit card or financial details; all payment data is encrypted and managed exclusively through Stripe’s secure infrastructure. While we endeavor to ensure a seamless checkout experience, we are not liable for payment processing errors, system delays, or declined transactions originating from Stripe or your issuing bank. Furthermore, you remain fully responsible for any foreign transaction fees, currency conversion differences, or bank charges levied by your financial institution. Stripe accepts all widely used payment methods, including credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard), debit cards (Visa, MasterCard), and bank transfers. To guarantee your Booking, all payments must be made in advance; we do not accept cash payments or pay-on-arrival options under any circumstances. All prices are charged in RM, and any currency conversion tool on the Platform is provided for estimation purposes only. By proceeding with your Booking, you agree to Stripe’s Payment Terms, accessible at https://stripe.com/en-my/legal/ssa.

10. Changes

To prevent misunderstandings, all booking modifications—including rescheduling activity dates or updating participant details—must be submitted via the GCRide Platform using the contact form at https://www.gcride.my/contact/ or through the "My Booking" section of the website. Requests must be submitted in a timely manner, which is evaluated based on specific case details, activity availability, and applicable cancellation windows. Timeliness is strictly determined by the exact timestamp when GCRide receives your notification. Upon successful processing, GCRide will issue a change confirmation on behalf of the Driver, which serves as your official proof of the update and must be retained. Your Transfer Voucher contains your requested pickup location, destination, and accommodation address. Any updates to these details must be requested in writing by email to info@gcride.my or through the "My Booking" section of the website prior to the travel date, and must be confirmed to you by email.

You are liable for any increased service costs resulting from requested changes to your Booking. While we will process the first modification to your Booking free of charge, subsequent changes will incur an RM50 administration fee per request. No refunds or price adjustments are permitted for any changes requested less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of the Transfer Service.

Furthermore, customers must notify Customer Service of any booking errors at least 48 hours before the transfer service; notifications received within 48 hours grant GCRide the right to terminate the contract without penalty or charge.

Once the contract becomes legally binding, the Customer is requested to notify our Customer Service Centre of any errors therein not less than 48 hours prior to the corresponding Transfer Service. Notification made within 48 hours of the corresponding Transfer Service affords us the right to terminate the Contract without penalty or charge. We may notify you of changes or cancellations on behalf of the Driver, especially at short notice, using your provided telephone number and by sending notifications to your email address.

11. Last minute bookings

Depending on the routes and the season, our freesale deadline varies from 0 to 48 hours, and more in exceptional cases, before a Transfer Service commences. If prompted by the Website, please CONTACT US 24/7 so that we can check whether we have a suitable vehicle available for your transfer request. Please note that our cancellation policies will apply regardless of booking date and time.

12. Cancellations

Unless different cancellation conditions are specified in the Transfer or Activity description on the GCRide Platform, in the Driver-Customer T&Cs, or on the Activity voucher, the following cancellation conditions apply:

For cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the start of the Transfer or Activity: full refund of the Booking Price.

For cancellations made within 24 hours prior to the start of the Transfer or Activity, or in case of no-show: no refund.

Certain Bookings may be subject to specific cancellation deadlines to qualify for a refund, or may be entirely non-refundable. Cancellations must be processed directly through your account on our Platform or submitted in writing by email to us. Alternative methods of cancellation, including requests made by telephone, are strictly not accepted.

If we receive your cancellation request more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time of the Transfer service, the amount paid for that Transfer service will be refunded in full. No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time. In such instances, we will email you a cancellation note that you may submit to your travel insurance provider, airline, or tour operator to claim the expense. If applicable, the Driver will refund the User the full paid price for a canceled booking within 14 days from the cancellation. Neither the User nor the Passenger will be entitled to any refund

if the User cancels the Transport Service less than 24 hours before the confirmed time of departure (or other applicable deadline indicated at the booking),

if the Passenger does not use the Transport Service (unless the Transport Service was not available due to the fault of the Driver or GCRide as described below or unless required by applicable mandatory law), or

if the User selected a non-refundable booking.

In any of the before-mentioned scenarios where the User does not use the Transport Service and is not entitled to a refund if the Transport Service was expected to be paid in cash, the User must pay the full fee for the booked Transport Service immediately upon a payment request made by GCRide on behalf of Driver.

13. Customer No-Show Policy

Customer No-Show (CNS) is defined as a Customer not being at the pickup location by the end of the complimentary waiting time, or the extra waiting time if that has been agreed between the Customer, the assigned Driver and the Company as per the Complementary Waiting Time Policy and the Extra Waiting Time Policy.

The pickup location is defined as the place where the Customer has asked to be picked up from. In case of airport/port pickup, the Company notifies You via the booking confirmation email the exact pickup location where the Driver will be waiting for You (i.e. Arrivals hall, Departure hall, etc.).

In the occasions where the Customer fails to appear at the pickup location by the end of their complementary waiting time, or the end of the extra waiting time, or if an “Extra Waiting Time” request has not been able to be accommodated by the Driver, the Transfer is marked as a “Customer No Show” (“CNS”). In this case no amount is refunded to the Customer. If an extra waiting time was agreed with the Customer as per the Extra Waiting Time Policy, the Traveller must pay the extra waiting fee as well.

If You are not at the pickup location at the scheduled pickup time, and the Pick up place is an Airport, Port, Train Station or Bus Station, the assigned Driver will try to contact You via text/Whatsapp/Viber or he will try to call You on Your Mobile. By booking a Transfer You consent to Us providing Your mobile phone number to Your Driver.

A possible CNS will be reported by Your Driver to the Company, at the following times:

For airport pickups by 90 minutes of a Traveller’s delay to appear at the pickup location after the scheduled pickup time

For Port, Train Station, Bus Station pickups by 30 minutes of  a Traveller’s delay to appear at the pickup location after the scheduled pickup time

For other in-city Transport Services by 20 minutes of  a Traveller’s delay to appear at the pickup location after the scheduled pickup time

For Tour, Daytrip or Activity Rides, the following complimentary waiting times apply:

Airport: 90 minutes

Port, Train Station, Bus Station or any other location: 30 minutes

By the end of Your complimentary waiting time, the following will happen:

If You have not been reached (have not replied), We must “release” the Driver. In this occasion, the Transfer is marked as a “CNS” .

If You  have been reached and have communicated that You will be at the pickup location by the end of the complimentary waiting time, We must inform the Driver to wait.  If You fail to appear by the end of the complimentary waiting time, We will make one final effort to reach out to You, and depending on the outcome, either release the driver immediately, or follow Company’s Extra Waiting Time Policy accordingly.

If You  have been reached and You have asked for extra waiting time, We will contact the Driver whereas the Extra Waiting Time Policy will apply accordingly.

You have 24 hours to dispute a CNS by contacting GCRide’s Customer Support. In the occasion You dispute a CNS, if the Driver was at the pickup location between the scheduled pick up time and the end of the complimentary waiting time (or extra waiting time if applicable), there is sufficient evidence to assume the Driver was at the pickup location as per Company’s policies. If there is sufficient evidence to assume that both You  and the Driver were at the pickup location but failed to meet each other and the Transfer was not operated, You will be refunded or, at the Company’s discretion, compensated through alternative means of equal value (including, but not limited to, vouchers or credits), 80% of the Transfer price, whereas the 20% will be kept by Us in order to cover partially Driver’s fee, since the Company is responsible to pay them their fee.

14. Driver No-Show Policy

The Driver must be at the pickup location by the scheduled pickup time. If the Driver is to be up to 10 minutes late, they will contact and notify the Customers (via call and text/Whatsapp) as much in advance as possible, and the latest by the scheduled pickup time. If the Driver is to be more than 10 minutes late, they will contact and notify Company ’s CS as much in advance as possible, and the latest by the scheduled pickup time. Company ’s CS will contact the Traveller and notify them of the expected Driver delay.

15. Scheduled Arrival Delay Exception

If the Customer or Passenger has provided accurate and complete details of the scheduled arrival (e.g. flight number, train number, or ship name) no later than 24 hours before the scheduled pick up, the Driver shall monitor the actual arrival time of the Passenger. In such case, the “pick up time” shall automatically adjust to reflect the actual arrival time.

If (a) the arrival is delayed by more than eight hours after the originally agreed pick up time, (b) the User and/or Passenger fails to provide the required arrival details, or (c) Driver is otherwise unable to reliably monitor the actual arrival time for the reason attributable to the User or Passenger, the exception under this clause shall not apply. In such case, the booking shall be subject to the general rule in section “Cancellation by Driver”, and the Driver may cancel the Transport Service with no refund due.

16. Changes and cancellations by us

If the Transport Operator needs to make a significant change to the conditions of the Service, or needs to cancel the Service, we will inform you as soon as possible.

We will use reasonable effort to honour your vehicle preference, however the vehicle may be substituted with a vehicle of greater capacity or multiple vehicles depending on availability. If we need to change your booking to a lower category or smaller vehicle for which a lower rate is available, we will refund you the difference in the rates.

In rare instances we may need to cancel your Booking. In such circumstances you will be refunded in full but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use all reasonable efforts to try and find suitable alternatives for any confirmed Booking subsequently cancelled by us.

17. Termination of the trip

If the Driver is not able to complete the trip until the later of (a) six hours after the estimated time of arrival at the final destination and (b) double of the time estimated for the total trip, both the Passenger and the Driver may terminate the Transport Services with immediate effect. In such a case, the Driver will refund the User the full paid price for such terminated Transport Service within 14 days from the termination, unless agreed otherwise between the Driver and the Passenger (for example unless agreed that the Driver will arrange an alternative transport). This is the sole remedy available to the User and the Passenger for the failure to complete the Transport Service.

18. Refunds

Refunds after a cancellation will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase of the Activity. At your discretion, refunds may alternatively be provided in the form of GCRide refund gift cards.

If you choose to use them, the current balance of your refund gift cards shall be shown in your GCRide Account and can be applied in the checkout process to reduce the Booking price when booking Activities on our Platform. GCRide refund gift cards:

are non-transferable and cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash;

cannot be used past the expiration date shown in your GCRide Account;

will be forfeited if you delete your GCRide Account;

cannot be collected past a maximum total amount that might change from time to time as shown in your GCRide Account.

GCRide reserves the right to make changes to the usage terms of GCRide refund gift cards, including but not limited to their value, usage and validity without prior notice.

19. Complimentary Waiting Time Policy

Your Driver will be waiting for You at the Pick Up place at the time that is scheduled in the Booking Order, subject to the provisions of this Complementary Waiting Time Policy and Extra Waiting Time Policy, so You must make sure that You show up in time, to avoid as being marked as a non-show where all the Terms of the Travellers’ No - Show Policy apply.

The Company offers the following complimentary waiting times, depending on the type of Transfer booked:

Airport: 75 minutes

Port, Train Station, Bus Station: 30 minutes

Other in- city pickups : 20 minutes

For Sightseeing Rides, the following complimentary waiting times apply:

Airport: 75 minutes

Port, Train Station, Bus Station or any other location: 30 minutes

The complimentary waiting time starts counting from the scheduled pickup time.

More specifically, for an airport/port pickup where the scheduled pickup time is other than the flight/ship arrival time and the flight/ship is delayed and expected later than the scheduled pickup time, the new arrival time becomes the pickup time.

For an airport/port pickup where the scheduled pickup time is the flight/ship arrival time and there is a flight/ship delay, the complimentary waiting time starts from the moment the flight/ship arrives provided the Traveller has provided correct and adequate flight/ship details to allow for the tracking of the arrival. The above is true for up to 8 hours of flight/ship delay. If the flight/ship is delayed more than 8 hours, the Transfer is cancelled and the entire Transfer fee is refunded to the Traveller.

For an airport/port pickup where the pickup time is the flight/ship arrival time and the flight/ship arrives earlier than the scheduled time, the scheduled pickup time remains the initial scheduled pickup time.

For an airport pickup where the Travellers are arriving with more than one flights, the Company considers the scheduled pickup time to be the one declared by the Traveller as the arrival time  during the booking, or an updated arrival time as per the Traveller Change Request Policy. Any notes left by the Traveller during the booking mentioning several flights do not constitute a scheduled pickup time adjustment. In the occasion where a group of Travellers arriving with multiple flights landing at different times have booked one Transfer, it is suggested that they add in the flight details the flight arriving last.

20. Extra Waiting time Policy

Extra waiting time is defined as an amount of time in addition to the complementary waiting time offered by the Company for which the Traveller asks the Driver to wait for them.

You can ask for the Driver to wait for You longer than Company’s complementary waiting time as per the Complementary Waiting Time Policy, either in advance (before the Transfer is operated) or the latest by the end of the complementary waiting time. You can do so by contacting Company’s Customer Support either by a phone call at the phone number provided in the confirmation email or in the website or by sending an email at booking@gcride.my. The Company can guarantee only the complimentary waiting time as additional waiting time for the Traveller if the extra waiting time has not been asked for at least 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

If You request an extra waiting time and the assigned Driver can accommodate this, an extra fee will be charged to You for every 20 minutes of extra waiting time, as follows:

For a Pickup where a Sedan car-type is assigned: RM 30.00 / 60 min

For a Pickup where a Minivans car-type is assigned: RM 35.00 / 60 min

For a Pickup where a Minibus car-type is assigned: RM 40.00 / 60 min

For a Pickup where a Premium car-type is assigned: RM 80.00 / 60 min

The Company does not charge any additional commissions to these fees.

When the extra waiting time request can be accommodated by the Driver, You have to consent on the additional applicable fees either over a phone call with the Company or by completing the transaction by Yourself in the link that the Company shall send to You . Payment of the fee can be made either in cash directly to the Driver before the start of the Transfer, or electronically to the Company.

21. Child seats

Both local and national laws regarding the use of child seats for infants and children vary from country to country. However, all transfer operators will comply with the latest legislation. If you are booking a private transfer, we do recommend the use of booster or child seats for those under the age of 12, or up to 135cm, for safety purposes. During the booking process in most destinations you are given the chance to reserve child or baby seats.

The lead passenger must check, under his/her solely responsibility, that such child restraint devices are suitable for the vehicle and are properly used and installed in it. The company assumes no liability resulting from any failure to use, install, or check the restraint device, or resulting from its incorrect use.

If you wish to bring your own child or booster seat, and are taking a private transfer, we must be advised of this information before you travel. This is to ensure that the vehicle provided by the Transport Operator can accommodate the seat. Group services are usually provided by minibus or coach, and in these vehicles it is not possible to use a child seat as the vehicles do not have compatible seating.

We will endeavour to ensure that child seats are provided by our Transport Operators where they have been booked. There may be instances when such seats are unable to be provided. In such cases, you will be entitled to a full refund for seats booked and not supplied. If no child seat is available, children of three years of age and over may travel as long as they wear an adult seat belt. Children under three years of age may be transported without a safety restraint as long as they travel in the rear of the vehicle.

22. Child pricing

All children and infants count towards the occupancy of the vehicle, regardless of age, and thus should be included in the total number of passengers at the time of booking.

23. Wheelchairs and bookings for disabled passengers

Transfer Services for disabled passengers must be requested by contacting our Customer Service Centre. We will try our best to meet your requirements, although we are not specialists in transfers for disabled passengers. Disabled passengers using our services must be able to board the vehicle independently or with the assistance of those in their party. We only take foldable wheelchairs. We regret that we cannot currently guarantee the type of vehicle that will be used for your transfer.

24. Pre-booked extra stop

During the Booking process, You are provided the option to pre-book extra stops if You need to collect or drop off keys, or if Passengers are split across multiple accommodation addresses. Any extra stop address must be located within the same destination as Your principal accommodation address. Each pre-booked extra stop is strictly limited to a maximum duration of five (5) minutes.

25. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that You obtain comprehensive travel insurance adequate for your needs. Please review all Contract details carefully and retain a copy of your Booking Voucher and related documentation with you during travel. Comprehensive travel insurance provides protection against unforeseen eventualities beyond our control.

26. Our liability

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are only responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a direct, foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence, up to the total value of the fare paid by you for the Booking. We accept no liability for any indirect, consequential, or unforeseeable loss or damage. Furthermore, we are not liable for any breaches or service disruptions caused by events beyond our direct control, including accidents, force majeure events, or legal and administrative requirements.

We cannot be held liable for incidents that may occur during the provision of the service, more specifically illnesses, personal injuries or death, unless caused by our negligence.

This means that, subject to these Terms, we may accept responsibility if, for example, you suffer death or personal injury or your Transfer Service is not provided as promised or proves deficient as a result of the failure of ourselves, our employees, or Transfer Operators to use reasonable skill and care in making, performing or providing, as applicable, your contracted transport service. Please note, it is your responsibility to show that reasonable skill and care has not been used if you wish to make a claim against us.

In addition, we will only be responsible for what our employees and Transfer Operators do or do not do if they were at the time acting within the course of their employment (for employees) or carrying out work we had asked them to do (for Transfer Operators).

Nothing in these Terms and conditions excludes or limits: a. our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence b. any of your other statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited.

We are absolved of all liability whatsoever where the customer makes a contract for another service directly with the Transport Operator.

We cannot guarantee the accuracy or reliability of the content of this website. This includes such eventualities as viruses. However every endeavour will be made by us to rectify in the shortest possible period any errors to which our attention has been drawn. Should such errors result in Bookings being made against faulty pricing and promotional information, we reserve the right to terminate the contract without offering compensation to the customer.

27. Force majeure

Neither the Company nor the Transport Operator accepts any liability or will pay compensation to You or any Passengers where the performance of our obligations under the Contract is prevented, hindered, or delayed, directly or indirectly, by force majeure or any circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, acts of terrorism, third-party accidents along the Transfer Service route, police checkpoints, unusual traffic levels, or industrial action.

28. Contact

All contact related to the amendment of booking information must be requested by email or through the “My booking” section of our Website.

In the event of unavoidable alterations to the contract, we will inform you by emailing the address provided by you at the moment of booking, the act of sending this email being considered as proof of receipt by you. The same system applies to all other advisory emails which we may send to you. It is therefore essential that you check that the email address provided by you is correct and that you read any incoming emails up to the time of your Transfer Service.

In case your arrival transportation is delayed or diverted to a different airport, station or port, the Transport Operator will reschedule the Transfer Service and you will be picked up at the new arrival time subject to availability. In the case that there is no availability, you will be refunded in full. We apply IATA's definition of flight delays for the purposes of these Terms.

If for any other reason you fail to be at the pickup point within a reasonable time after the scheduled collection time specified on your Voucher, the Transport Operator or our Customer Service team will try to contact you on the mobile telephone number you have provided.

If it is not possible to speak to you because you have not provided an operational mobile telephone number at the time of booking, you have no or poor connection, no signal, activated voicemail or the call is unanswered, the service will not be provided, the Transport Operator is immediately relieved of their obligations and a refund will not be due.

29. Transportation services

We offer a range of services to which the Transport Operators have given their accord. These are private Transfer Services and shared or shuttle Transfer Services.

The route to or from the destination chosen cannot be guaranteed and the Google drawn route map displayed on our website is for informational purposes only. Whilst reasonable effort is made to ensure that pickup times are respected, they are not guaranteed.

In the event that you are unable to locate the driver of your private transfer or the representative of the shuttle Transport Operator, it is your responsibility to contact us on the 24/7 telephone numbers printed on your Transfer Voucher. If you fail to call these numbers and make alternative travel arrangements, we will be unable to provide the service, the Transport Operator will be relieved of their obligations and a refund will not be due. If your private transfer driver or the representative of the shuttle Transport Operator cannot locate you, a member of our Customer Service team will call the mobile phone number provided in the booking. Please ensure that you travel with this mobile phone and that it is switched on while you are waiting for your luggage or clearing customs. If we cannot locate you or reach you on the number provided, we will be unable to provide the service and a refund will not be due. For non-airport collections, we must receive your telephone call within 10 minutes of your scheduled pickup time. An electronic record of all calls received to the 24/7 numbers is kept by a third party telecoms provider, and shall be used as proof in the event of a dispute as to whether the numbers were called or not. Unused transfers are not refundable and alternative transport costs will not be reimbursed unless pre-authorised by a member of our team. If authorised to take alternative transport, please ensure that you obtain a receipt and submit it to our Customer Care team for review. No payment will be due for travel expense claims submitted without valid receipts.

You are responsible for checking the agreed pickup time and for ensuring that you arrive at the airport, station or port with enough time to check in or make any other preparations for your journey.

The Transport Operator will pick you up and set you down as close as possible to the given addresses. In the event that access via a conventional route is closed due to weather conditions, road accidents etc., the Transport Operator will, at your express request, use a longer route to reach the agreed destination, but in such instances you may be liable for any additional costs.

While Drivers shall undertake their best effort to arrive at the destination (and sights, if booked) at the estimated time, neither the Driver nor GCRide makes any warranty to Users about the time of arrival at the destination or sights.

All contracted transfer services fall within the scope of the public liability cover of the Transport Operator’s insurance policy or that of their sub-contractor.

We may charge you a fee on behalf of the Driver if, during your use of the Transfer Service, you cause damage to a vehicle or property that requires repair or cleaning ("Repair" and "Cleaning"). The amount of such fee shall be determined in our sole discretion based on the type and severity of the damage. We reserve the right to verify or require supporting documentation of damages prior to processing any fee. If a Repair or Cleaning request is verified in our reasonable discretion, we reserve the right to facilitate payment for the reasonable cost of such Repair or Cleaning using the payment method designated in your account. If payment for the Transfer Service was made in cash or if a card payment fails, we will contact you to request payment for the Repair or Cleaning, which must be remitted within 14 days of the request. Such amounts, as well as those pertaining to lost and found items, will be transferred by us to the Driver, where applicable, and are non-refundable.

Whilst we endeavour to provide SMS confirmation messages when requested, this service is dependent upon telephone networks that are beyond our control. If a text message is lost or delayed the Customer shall refer to information provided by email or in the My Booking section of our Website.

30. Baggage allowance / capacity

Private transfer vehicles have luggage capacity of at least 1x bag or suitcase per passenger seat based on a maximum combined size of 158cm (length + width + height) per item. All luggage must be declared at the time of booking. Smaller items that fit in the passenger footwell, such as a camera case, handbag or small shoulder bag, do not need to be declared. The Passenger shall be liable for all expenses incurred should additional vehicles be required to transport non-declared excess luggage.
