Full Description
Genting Highlands has been Malaysia's favourite mountain getaway since the 1960s, and it's easy to see why: barely an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur, the temperature drops, the clouds roll in below you, and a whole resort town of casinos, theme parks, and shopping opens up on the ridge above.
The day starts with the scenic drive up through Genting Sempah, followed by a stop at the Chin Swee Caves Temple — a Taoist temple built into the hillside, with a nine-level pagoda and sweeping views back down the valley. From here, continue up to Resorts World Genting itself, where the Genting SkyWorlds theme park and the resort's other attractions are yours to explore at your own pace (attraction tickets are not included — see below).
Weather in the highlands can turn quickly, so a light jacket is worth packing even on a sunny day in the city. On the way back down, there's an optional stop at the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets for anyone who wants to browse before the drive back to Kuala Lumpur.

- Visit Chin Swee Caves Temple
- Arrive at Resorts World Genting — free time to explore the theme park and resort (tickets not included)
- Lunch on your own at Genting Highlands (not included)

- Head back to Kuala Lumpur city for hotel drop off
- 18:00hrs/later drop off at the same locations where pick-ups occurred (depending on traffic conditions)
